Transportation - bus service providing low cost transportation across Emmet Co. Congregate Meals - meals and fellowship at three centers in Petoskey, Alanson and Pellston.Meals on Wheels - hot, nutritious meals delivered to senior’s homes.Retired Senior Volunteer Program - volunteer opportunities for people age 55 +Homemaker Services - assistance with household duties such as laundry,vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, shopping and running errands.Home Chore Services - lawn care, snow removal,home maintenance and upkeep services.Respite Care - staff give primary caregivers relief and provide companionship to homebound or ill senior citizens.Personal Care - CENA’s provide assistance with bathing, dressing, oral and nail careHealth Services - provide a variety of services including blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose, prostate and cholesterol screening, massages, hearing screening, fall risk assessments, flu and pneumonia vaccines, foot care, prescription assistance and health education.Private Duty Nursing - R.N.’s provide in home foot care, phlebotomy and medication management.Fitness - a variety of fitness activities led by an instructor including fitball workouts, walking, golfing, stretching and strengthening and swimming.Support Groups - help and encouragement through the Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Low Vision and Widow and Widowers support groups.Activities - many activities are offered including card playing, games, bingo, arts and crafts, choir and many special events.Information and Assistance -provides a referral source for senior services, programs & activities.
