Helen Newberry Joy Hospital & Healthcare Center provides a full service lab, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging including Helical CT, and nuclear medicine, ultrasound, mammography, and radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and services. Additionally, we have bi-weekly mobile MRI services and are affiliated with a mobile audiology lab. Surgical services are provided by a number of specialists from Marquette, Sault Ste. Marie, and Petoskey that rotate through our specialty clinic, including: general, orthopedic, urology, Ob/Gyn, ophthalmology, podiatry, laparoscopic and arthroscopic surgical needs. Complete rehabilitation services are provided by Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists and a Cardiac Rehab Nurse. Our adjoining 48-bed Long Term Care Department is fully staffed 24 hours a day with experienced and compassionate RN’s, LPN’s, and CNA’s, with immediate access to our physician’s and healthcare facilities. We have a Total Health & Wellness Center providing community members and visitors access to exercise equipment and classes with expanded facilities and services. The new Eastern Upper Peninsula Dialysis Center provides dialysis services to local and visiting patients. We have a Diabetic Outreach Program with a Certified Diabetic Educator RN on staff. We provide easy access to healthcare through Telemedicine services.
